The Free Shop Priority Board
One page that answers the three questions every morning meeting starts with: what runs today, what is at risk, and what ships this week. Print it, hang it, work it.
What you get, plainly
One Excel workbook in a ZIP: an empty board plus a filled example copy. No macros, no data connections, no add-ins, nothing to install. It is not a trial, not time-limited, and not a stripped demo of a paid file.
What it is not: it does not track inventory, capacity by work center, PM schedules, or training records, and it is not a shop system of record. Those are the paid systems.
Your email is used to send this file and occasional notes about new ReadyOps systems and platform releases. One-click unsubscribe. We do not sell or share your address.
- One page that shows what runs today, what is at risk, and what ships this week
- Works as a printable morning-meeting sheet
- Same field naming as the paid Production Control System, so upgrading is not a rebuild
- No macros, no data connections, no email required to open the file
The board is a starting point, not a stripped demo. If it earns its place in your morning meeting, the full Production Control System adds work center load, WIP value, and shipping history on the same field names.

How to use it
A five-minute daily routine
01
Update status once a day
Mark each job's current work center and status. That is the only entry the board needs.
02
Read the flags
At-risk and past-due rows highlight themselves. Decide what moves before the day starts.
03
Print for the meeting
One page, no scrolling, readable across a table or taped to the wall.
Board working? Add the full system.
Production Control picks up where the board stops: work center load, WIP hours and value, late-job history, and shipping log.
